Just finished installing my new floor in my 65 Sat. I want to seam the firewall edge etc ?

Are you guys using caulking gun sealer or brush on ?

I hear caulking gun sealer is better ??

What are the common brands of both that you all use ?

Also, would use brush a little over the spot welds just to fill any pin holes ?

Use a caulking gun on my floor-pan, and 'wet' a paint brush to go over the sealer when you are done. Gives it that brushed look while maintaining maximum filling of joints. The type of sealant you use determines the liquid used to wet the brush - water based or solvent based.
