second gear not smooth

I have a 1968 A883 in my 65. I have replaced second gear and the syncs and it still does shift smoothly into second on the down shift up shift seams better but still not like the others. Is there something I can readjust with the linkage??? Any ideas?

...what kind of gearbox oil are you using ? years ago when I was working for GM ( OPEL ) here in Germany..we changed the "heavy tranny oil.... to ATF ! Worked perfect.. we always made the CHANGE when the clients were reclaiming about " shifting problems...
And GM ( OPEL ) sended us TSBs with the order to change out the fluids....
