Saw this truck on the net and thought the scoop looked really good on it. I have seen this hood grafted on many others but this was a first… Your thoughts??

Looks good. It's a nice touch.

Not the same years or even truck but I saw this first generation Dakota hood and loved it. Now I want to 440 a first gen.

Yea but I think this is 100% fiber glass. Pretty sure its not a real power bulge hood.
Ok Thanks on my phone so can’t really tell I just know how hard they are to find…

Both those bulges look better on other vehicles than what they were designed for. Kind of neat actually.
Also the only scoop/bulge that looks at all okay on a 68-70 Charger is the 70 Airgrabber on a 70 Charger. IMO of course.

My friend has that 73/74 Road Runner hood on his Ram. It's a nice piece. I can't remember who makes them though.

A bit OFF TOPIC, but a custom made job on a Charger hood, made in Venezuela.

70 AAR style

My friend made a similar hood for his 71 Charger SRT. He used the insert from a Ram SRT 10 hood. I made this hood for my 70 Charger R/T SE, by grafting a 71 Charger R/T hood onto a 70 Charger hood.

I have pictures of my friends car,but none of them show the hood because the car is up on a lift.

The power bulge hood is on eBay
BMC Extreme Customs is the declared manufacturer.

Isn’t that the Serpent Charger? I did know personally that Charger car on its development back in 2008 when I went to Carlisle show that year!

The diff on the one made in Venezuela is there is no a “grafted” job from a donor insert or hood, but totally hand made modifying the existant buldge.
