Hello SGT! While searching for a Charger project myself, I happened to come across your thread. I just had to register to the site and let you know what a fantastic job you have done so far. Look forward to more! Very inspirational...and motivational...now to go find myself a '68. Cheers! :newbie:

SGT, You make fabrication look easy as it gets, You have come a long way and its looking great, ill bet even with the patience you have its running out wanting to head out on the high way! Good luck!!!

Hi Gang!
Thanks for all the comments everyone! Been a slow summer on the Charger, with planning a wedding, getting my fiancée’s house ready to sell, and changing jobs. I did manage to get the doors, hood, and fenders blasted last spring. Found that my hood has a crease in it so I’ll be looking for a new one – sucks since it’s pretty solid. Was able to dress up the seams where I welded the patches onto the fenders and feather out the dents in the doors and fenders with metal to metal filler and a little body solder. Epoxy primer and a gray primer coats on them is as far as I will get this year.

Tomorrow will be the most important day of my life when I get to marry my wonderful fiancée!!!! Restoring this Charger is fun, but working on this car is nothing like the absolute joy that Patti brings me. We can’t wait to start our lives together!!

Congrats, a life partner is priceless.

Congratulations SGTPaul . . . wishing you all the best ! ! !

typical me, late to the dance. just spent hour and half reading through you build. OUTSTANDING WORK SGT!!

I don't have the patience or the talent to tackle that level of rebuild. To me, it's amazing the level of tear down and rebuild some here are capable and are more than eager to help in any way. IMO, best group online.

Congrats on your marriage! Enjoy your honeymoon! Look forward to the updates when you get time to reengage.

This is amazing and inspiring work! Once i get my hands on a car, i really want to do something like this. Being new to this depth of rebuild, im sure i'll have my issues, but im anxious to dive in, and already confident that you guys will be a great help! Again great work Sgt! ..and congrats on your marriag and have fun on that honeymoon!

Congratulations to you and your bride!
May GOD bless you and your wife and your life together!

So...wondering what the honeymoon getaway vehicle was.... :)

Congrats on the marriage, God bless you both!

awesome project started mine a few months ago, congrats on the wedding, I think you should include a block sander and maybe a air file in your wedding present to your wife, maybe you can get it done sooner than you expected, ha ha good luck.

Hi All!!! Thanks for all the great comments and well wishes!! Patti and I had a great wedding day and honeymoon. Wanted to share a few pics with you including our get away vehicle. It's a 1963 VW 23 window bus that my father-in-law restored. He passed about 6 months before I met my wife but he was definitely with us on our special day. Not a Mopar but still very cooool...
