Being an older guy, I have to say that I do appreciate some of the new songs that are out there. Like 'Call me maybe'...a silly song but I'm drawn to it much like I'm drawn to a train wreck. However this song and others like it always reminded me of this parody.....

One of my guitar students brought it in to learn. It's more talented than some of the crap in that genre. I show them the melody, that one at least doesn't just stay on one note like Katy Perry (no talent a$$ clown). I also taught it to one of my student teachers, but we did it as a metal version.
