Shifter Saturday!

B-body, new take-off. NOS condition. Jack Thomas had one in my WO car, when he raced it. I also have a NIB, reverse Hurst lock-out from the 60's.

What's old is new again.
Picked up a new rental at my jobsite, 2023 Chebby Tahoe. Amazed at the shifter from an early 60's Mopar. Kept pushing the buttons Mopar style but couldn't make it go, doh! You pull out the D and R. The rest push in, just like a vintage Mopar. I do like this better than the "knob" that is common nowadays though.

I learned in a 1964 Dodge 330, wagon. Factory 383/4-speed. My parents bought it new in 64, out of the "pool". Mom's street racer. Weight transfer made this car about dead-hook. I believe everybody in the family learned to drive in this car. It's amazing, how much abuse it stood-up to.

I set this one up for an E-body Richmond unit after I made some mods to make it shift easier.
