Since I have four cars/trucks with the same oil filter size I decided to buy a case of filters... 12 for $68.00. These fit my 318, Ford 460, Jeep 4.0 and my wifes new Ford Maverick.

That's it for now...

Why did you buy so few? Gonna need more than that!

Surprised a new car uses such a big filter.

4.0 same filter? I did not know that. I have been buying some other # Mopar filter and it is pretty small.

I have 3 vehicles that use the same filter....well, the Dakotas call for a smaller one but found that a Wix 1068 just fits in the crapped space.

Same base but only bigger. I'm thinking it's the same as the PH8A? I used to change the oil in my BiL's Jeep with the 4.0 and saw that little filter on it and put the PH8A size on it. Same thing with my Dakotas only they don't have the room for the B2 or PH8A's but the PH43's fit but quit using that brand a long time ago.

I don't think Dad'sbee has enough oil or filters?..... although there is a lot of snow in Canada!!! maybe that's a good winter ❄️ project!!!

Who does Baldwin make filters for? I've used them in the past but Wix 51515 is easier for me to find.

K&n oil filters $3.26 #ps2004 on rockauto
I searched 1978 dodge magnum 400cui and scroll down to closeouts only. I bought these before when they were cheaper.

well they used to make the private label filters for Federated Auto Parts stores but now they are Chinese and more $$$ than when Baldwin made them. They also made Casite filters but those are now history.

I used to pay under $3 for my Ford/Mopar filters. Now the chicom ones are about $6 and the Baldwin are almost $12 wholesale.

The B2 Baldwin is mostly made in the USA. It's stamped on the box and filter.

Having worked for Ford I know the Motorcraft (Purolator) numbers...

These are all the standard Ford & Mopar thread/gasket

FL1A = the normal 1 qt filter
FL300 = the short fat 3/2 qt filter
FL400 = the skinny full length filter
FL321 = the short skinny filter
FL299 = the 2 qt tall version...
