should i add a go wing to my 70RR

I like the wings!
Go for it, we only live once.
Mike

I don't like the wings in general and I wouldn't put one on the 70 RR. It really comes down to personal taste.

I would vote no. I have a 70 also and have decided not to put a wing on it. I added one to my 73 back when I restored it, even though it is not correct. I am still OK with the wing on that car, I am just not so fond of it on the 70s.

As others have said, it is your car - do what YOU like!

Just my opinion but it definitely looks better on non vinyl cars with high impact paint like FE5, yellow, Limelight

Also depends on what else it going on ... with the rake of the car, wheels/tires/size, rear stripe/stripe delete, dust trail yes/no, perf hood treatment yes/no ... it has to be in balance. RE: the all the stripe options, vinyl tops, and wing less is more ... don't do it all.

Looks good on the Yellow or limelight car (hard to tell) with the lights on shot from rear near and orange one at the end.

Put one on my FY1 Lemon Twist Yellow/black interior 70. It went great with the black on the hood and decklist stripe.

If you have a vinyl top i say add it...they work well together.....without vinyl top it looks like an after thought....thanks.

i would never drive one with a go-wing, that's just for nut-jobs !!!!! LMAO :laughing4:

I bought one for mine and after seeing another lemon twist car with one at Carlilse, i will not be putting it on. They look good on E-Bodies. Like mentioned already, get another trunklid and try it out.

i think depending on color and rake, but i am not opposed to them. i installed on my 71, and like prev. post said if your trunk lid has the set up already, it is easy. I bought the mustang wing and then found the brackets/bolts on a mopar website. it's personal preference...one thing i do like that i have seen on a few is the upper taillight panel blacked out.

Everthing that flies must have wings. On the other hand; If a fly didnt have wings would they be called a walk?

Vinyl top, yes.............. No vinyl top maybe!!!! First Place Auto Products makes a licensed reproduction that even has the original mopar numbers cast into the wing. They come complete with all of the correct mounting hardware and templates if you have to cut your trunk lid out. I've bought several of them for "E" body cars, and they all fit perfectly.

For some reason, the 70 looks better without a wing. It seems like it was designed not to have one. I'd vote no, and leave it clean looking! The 70 body for some reason wearing the spoiler, it just looks added!

If it came with it, maybe. Would I put one on, NO. To me it takes away from the look of the car and cheapen the look.
