should i add a go wing to my 70RR

Everthing that flies must have wings. On the other hand; If a fly didnt have wings would they be called a walk?

Not everything that flies needs wings to fly.

dave that's a good one:laughing4:

Never. To me It's be like the luggage rack thing on Challengers.

I like it better with the wing. But I don't like the wing on convertibles for some reason. I would bet that it really does come down to a 50/50 preference.

Looks like a poll is in order here josh.

Edit the post in advanced mode and scroll to the bottom.

give at least 3 options something like

A. Never!
B. I love the wings and put em' everything I can!
C. Looks good on some cars do what you want and drive it like you stole that sum-bi-atch!
D. Bigger is better ... make it a Super Runner and put the really tall wang on that thang! (this option reserved for Stu)

Nhaaah Don't do it. I did put one on a 2006 Ram truck with a fiberglass tonneau cover one time though. LOL

i didnt see post a poll on it..i dont see were i can edit the first post

Get another lid that is what i did and have a nice correct original wing i am going to install on it that way if i don't like the look i can put the original lid back on w/o the wing. As mentioned try to find a lid with factory cut-out provisions or maybe your existing lid already has them

my paints a wierd *** color...crazy hard to match..its DY3 yellow gold but its a older paint job so its either faded or mixed different when they resprayed it heres pic View attachment 104_0695.jpg104_0730.jpg

i like the wheels..but that's the beauty...you can put many diff styles to change the look...search CL for police wheels

idk 22 inch wheels and a wing! dont go gettin mixed with the wrong crowd lol!

I did not read this entire thread but the short answer is f@ck no, hell no, don't even think about a spoiler.

Just reflecting on the thread...............................................unfortunately......without a spoiler or graphics on the quarter panel.... the rear of a roadrunner just looks long... whereas a dodge uses bumble bee stripes to shorten up the quarter panel. I have a 70 runner and love the looks but.....all the eye candy is from the side scoop to the front..(dust trail, hood stripes , air grabber ect...). and that's why I think that the "Plymouth" on the Superbirds quarter panels look so good! It shortens up the rear. All the dodges and including dusters, cudas had graphics for the quarter panels but...........the road runner. As for the spoiler.... I think theres too much trunk for a spoiler of that size. Oh well......just my 2cents!

thats what i was thinking..i painted the tail end black, i know roadrunners didnt have it but there was to much of one color on the car..how big are the spoilers? the rear of car is pretty big...

there boss 338 wheels..20s on the rear and 18s on the front..there brand new with stickers still on them..i like them also but i wish the grey on them was black..

to sum it up quite simply........spoilers look great on short trunk lids of any make. Mach-1s, cudas, challengers, 71-74 b-bodies, camaros, firebirds, javelins ects..... My rule of thumb...if the space between the rear glass and the end of the car is more or equal... than the width of the spoiler.....don't do it. ------------Opinions are like........you know the rest! lol
