Should intake valves look like this?

I’m assuming the intake valves should NOT look like this, with gunk built up on them. Looks like I have oil leaking in there, and probably confirmed by the wet blackish film in intake runner.

Not uncommon. But if the intake gaskets are leaking or valve seals are bad that will add to the deposits. Along with fuels and a host of other contributors.
 
based on the external signs of an oil leak around the valley pan corners I’m thinking it’s leaking inside also.

I’m using the Wagner adjustable PCV, but had the same thoughts with bad pressure/ventilation.

Poor crank case venting and pcv can cause oil to go where its not supposed to also.
 
Yeah, ME Wagner here too, through an oil mist separator.
