Sitting in a Car Show, Minding my own Business...

Another good reason not to sit behind your car on a lawn chair.
Well said, I hate to admit it, but I didn't even think about that!! I missed that captain obvious moment... LOL

If they had been sitting behind the car, they wouldn't have seen that idiot coming, and would possibly have been killed or at least badly injured.

Wow. A good reason to have a camera on board - no ability for anyone to make up stuff.

Anyway, it just seems really odd. Was the driver impaired? Drunk? Had a seizure? lost their brakes? I just can't figure out how you make a 'mistake' like that unless there is some extenuating circumstance.

Extremely distracted driving will do this with no problem! That's my story and I'm stickin to it!!

Yeah, I guess I've got to agree with you. I've seen some sketchy stuff with (mostly young) people totally oblivious of everything due to being absorbed with their phones.

At least luckily it seems no one got hurt. I'd be sick if that happened to my 70...

Distracted, then BUMP over the curb, then they lock up in panic. Zero reaction skills. At that point, just along for the ride.

And the same idiots think firearms are more destructive. One 5.56 round has waaayyyy less ftlbs of energy than that pilotless vehicle had on impact.

This is what happens when they tangle with the back of a tractor trailer. Twice in my last seven years. Both sober, young, no insurance, vehicles totaled.
