Looks sweet man!

When are you making the run to the Motor City to pick it up?

You're going to have a hell of a time trying to decide what car to race this year.

looking to go this weekend weather permitting.
we might be getting another storm friday.
yes its going to be tough figuring which car to race.
maybe just race the white 63, since i'm afraid of going fast according to slim.:eek:ccasion18:

Superstockracer wow that is 1 bad mama jama are you going to dyno it where do you usualy run. You should be in the 8's if the car is set up properly with your name I would assume it is. If I could get in the low 9's with a 479ci B engine in my old RR I would think a 572 with those heads would easly roll in the 8's. Good luck It's a thing of beauty I want one. LOL

Thanks it went 9.22 with old motor 3322 lb. heads flowed 380 cfm @ .800 lift with the old combo. We stepped up the combo and now heads flow [email protected] lift. Trying a different cam, and putting in a new ATI 8" converter from the old 9.5 PTC.
Low tensile rings put in for vacuum pump. I should be able to get in the high 8's but not sure. .2 with these combos are tough to do.

Superstockracer Sounds like fun. I am working on a new project myself, I sold my old 68 RR to a local guy for 28K, he wanted something allready set up, I hated to see it go after 6 years of building & tuning. I got to keep a few parts for my other project, six pac hood, alum./elect. waterpump, alum. radiator, manifold & carbs. He wanted a differant hood & manifold set up that I had. I still have another 68 RR it won't be as radical but hopefully atleast quick maybee a high 10 sec. car at best when I can finish it, money is realy tight economy here in Cali. is not real good right now. IT looks like an 8 sec. pass in the near future for you, that's quite an accomplishment in a 3300lb car. Good luck. Budnicks

My Indy 588 is back from Best Machine in Michigan and home safe.
Thanks to 440gtx(Clinton) making the trip with me.We made it 9.5 hours each way. Not too bad.
It will be going back in the car by the end of the week.
I can't believe my oil pan is sitting in my dishwasher at home being cleaned.
Tuesday going to take apart the Titan oil pump for inspection and then the fun begins with the installation.Pics to follow.
The motor is in the back of my pickup in a huge crate courtesy of bbody540(Danbury John).

SuperstockRacer post some photos or vidieos are even better. Good luck. Budnicks

Chris,

How is the motor coming? Did you get it in the car yet?

Maybe that's why he's sooooooooo quiet, either he's hunting WABBITTS,or he's in the garage gettin' some work done:bootyshake::munky2:That builder told SSR he'd have it done in about 8 weeks. That was the weekend of Chrylser Carlisle/York reunion/Beaver Springs which was mid July.Maybe I had **** in my ears and he said 8 MONTHES:icon_hang:
