We had a pretty mild spell in January and early February, then it got colder again. Woke up to this in my yard this morning.

we have 60* today supposed to be 34* tonight {strange warm dry/drought season here, normal/average would be 28* +or- a few degrees, we have no snow pack hardly}, sorry for your pain guys, I feel for ya !!, but wouldn't want to be ya !!, I hate winter now, especially since I don't ski hardly at all anymore... I use to love winter, even when I lived in Alaska... getting older don't like it anymore... give me the sun & warmth any-day...

Come to az and have some real fun your winters suck and our summers are worse 100 plus days for 45 days or longer. You would thonk after 45 years of this i i would be use to it. Nope as i get older so does these summers.

It's been there since day 1, when I moved here
it'll be there for another 10 years probably too...

I'll cut it down someday, it's not real high on my priority list...

Been raining since yesterday. Had a break for a while yesterday evening but the freezing rain started overnight. It's been raining all day with the temp hovering from 30-33 degrees. I'm afraid I may have to cut down one of my Maple trees. It's been damaged a lot over the past couple years by a couple ice storms. I'll be calling someone soon to try to clean it up. I hope that it can just be cleaned up and not taken down. It gives us great shade in the evening.

Usually only see the back yards flood when the spring thaw happens. Since it starting rainy Friday night we haven't had a lot of breaks. Freezing rain started early this morning. I looked at my little rain gauge this morning and it had 3 inches of rain/ice in it. News says we've had a half inch of ice today. Lost another small limb in one of the maples. At least it's not like the ice storm a few Decembers ago.

Woke up this AM at about 6:00 am, Elvis needed to go out to pee
it was snowing big *** 1"+ flakes until about 9:00 am
about an inch an hour {must be global warming },
it's almost all gone now already too...

Freaking lingering late winter, didn't even start till Feb.

enough already, we've had our 60+ days of shitty weather
time for real Calif. spring & thank god summer is coming
