We had dogs back in the day... no insurance carrier will cover you with them now. (even tho someones tresspassing on your property!) damm liberal BS!

I feel you pain

I recommend a .45 or .40 caliber, a 12ga. Pump or Semi Auto Shotgun & probably the better route is either, motion sensing lights, light the place up with any movement at night, maybe even a load speaker recording that say, "police are notified & are on the way"... Post signs everywhere, "trespassers will be prosecuted", "beware of dog" whether you have a dog or not, "This property protected by Smith & Wesson", then maybe "Never mind the dog, beware of the owner"

That is really the shits man.I Know how you feel.I've been broken into before and I was really pissed off.Being violated like that is a very uncomftable feeling.

I feel your pain Bro.
Bastards pried open my sliding patio door which set of the alarm immediately. As they ran through the house they emptied my change jar (appx $200) into my pillow case with the pillow still in it and took that with the change ????? Then on the way out grabbed my wifes laptop from the desk. Total time from immediate alarm to the one on the front door they used on the way out was 3 minutes!
I missed them by 9 minutes, lucky bastards is what they are!

One word "CAMERAS" I got'em they work, caught one of the board members ripping my car cover off my Magnum GT. He can not even drive in front of my condo now! LOL

If you were closer I would donate some security cameras from my business. I can get you wholesale prices if you decide to go that route. I am a dealer for these guys in L.A. along a few others.

Swann makes a good setup at usually a decent price, I tried to find one of the sets (two different setups) that i have and couldn't. I bought mine out of a Heartland magazine someone gave me, Heartland buys warehouse deals and usually cheaper then anywhere selling the same thing. Here is a link to one of there (Swann) security cameras More expensive then the ones i bought from the magazine, But if you can place a couple of these around and set them up for motion detection, It may help you, These particular ones do have night vision up to 65 feet.. Ive only had one problem with a Swann setup, it was one that came with a monitor and 4 cameras, no night vision and the Monitor went bad, they sent me a new one.. Hope this may help if you can get a couple, they work great with the night vision and i imagine being a salvage yard you do have lights around.. If you can place them where you have the best view.. They will give you security decals to put around to help deter some to..

I appriciate the imput. Yes I do have video survellance -dvr 24-7 but just not a clear enuff pic. Camera upgrade maybe, what do you think? The fact of the matter is if I'd a caught 'em... well things would have gotten very unpleasant. THey busted up alot of hi-$$ late model $hit. We ran some new razor wire today.. I got jabbed in the arm pretty good, bleed like a stuck pig. And I knew it was there.... hehehe. Of course the wife saw my jeans when I came home, she knew I did something. She made me stay home tonight too.... go figure....

BTW, I do have ,motion lights around my building. when they got close and the lights turned on they backed away..........

Friggin parasites.........

I would say trip wire loaded claymore's and proximity mines, but I guess that could get messy. "Beware of Dogs" signs (even if there isn't any) and hang a few of those motion lights that work off a solar charge out by the cars, might be a deterrent.

Sorry to hear it.
