Solid Lifter Edm Side Hole Location Question

Anyone know the Optimum or Standard Location for a Solid flat tappet Lifter Side Oil Entry oil Location ? ...My regular solid Lifter has No oil band & I Guess a solid flat tappet Lifter needs to have the Lifter bore side Galley oil pressure full pressurizing Thru the solid lifter body to the Lifter face Edm hole near or at the cam Nose location......My 1st Edm solid valve Lifter & Trend needs to know where to locate the Lifter Body Side oil Hole location...thx,.......tom

IMHO you need a band
you would have no oil when the lifter turns with just a hole
but maybe that works
I think we did the hole down near the bottom of the oil passage with the lifter on the base circle
how does everyone else do it
did you say this build had bushings?

Trend sales/tech needs my factory stock block's lifter bore Side oil galley oil feed location to make the lifters..It's just standard ole 0.904" lifter B block Chrysler.... Isn't there a "standard" factory spec for that ?? ..$700--800 for Tool Steel Edm flat tappet lifters ?? Does that $$ sound right ? That's about premium Roller Lifter money, ain't it ?

...Not that I know of !! Just stock block BBM, I didn't see that question comming...Actually shopping for highest quality solid lifters & thought their tool steel Edm is the setup..Who Does have the best Lifter ?

Oh No..! Seems like All the "Tool Steel" solid lifters avail from various vendors all have a 1/4" Taller (hydraulic) pushrod Seat Height spec compared to the traditional .904" Mopar solid lifter... Someone prove me wrong ! I was planning to reuse my super strong Smith Brothers solid lifter compatible pushrods.....tom
