I did my car this past spring with Fatmat Rattletrap, which is ,080 thick.

Ive done several cars with it and like it a lot.

Fatmat is 1/2 the price of dynamat foil backed odor free Butyl. Works very well.

The reduction in road noise and heat is well worth the effort and expense IMHO…

A little overlap or butt the pieces together?

I butted my pieces together. Worked nicely. Did both my doors this evening. I thought I would do the doors while she is still on the rotisserie. Working at just the right height. 10-4 ?
