Spark Plug Size?

I'm replacing my spark plugs and removed 5/8 Champion plugs. I ordered NGK plugs and recieved 13/16 plugs. They thread in surprisingly, but should/can they be used?

THE SOCKET SIZE MAKES NO DIFFERENCE. the"throw" is what you need to be concerned about. THROW is the amount of the spark plug that actually goes into the combustion chamber. too much throw and your pistons will hit the spark plug. just make sure the threads on the new plugs are the same as the old ones in legnth....or "throw"

I switched many moons (maybe 12 years now) ago to NGK's won't use ANYTHING else ... if you like em...you might want to "favorite" the website and read up on heat ranges..seriously...NGK is rated backards yeah I said Backards...lolol but they are some nice plugs..!!

actually all import plugs go higher in # for lower heat range and domestic plugs go lower in # for lower heat range.no idea why.

well 67 I don't use anything but NGK's now so I cant say for anything else but you are CORRECT as far as NGK's...lololol I flip flop between the bp6es on the street with 89/93 oct and bp5es with 110/112oct for the strip... with the 5 being 1 step hotter
