Just finished installing my Headers on the 68 Dart with a 540 stroked engine. It has Elephant ears for mounts. The problem is that #6 Plug clearance is not enough to allow a regular size spark plug. Are there shorties available to fix my problem? My engine is 10.5 to 1 with a 557 lift purple shaft cam and max wedge heads and intake with 1050 carb. What plugs do I need and should I use all shorty plugs or just were needed? Thanks Ron

I've run the Acell shorty Header Plugs for years no problems,
I also use IIRC a DFI Nomex heat plug wire sock/shields too

I use the 14mm 0.750" reach non resister type shorty gasket plugs,
for Edelbrock RPM fully Ported BB Alum Wedge Heads with angle plug design & custom headers

They make copper core & platinum U-groove & a C groove {?} IIRC

I got the heat shields & plugs from Summit Racing IIRC

The Autolites {411 ? style} Shorty's are OK too,
I just have had better luck with the Accels,
but that's just my opinions
