I have received several speeding tickets in my 51 years but last week I set a new record for myself. 89mph in a 75 mph zone and 51mph in a 35 mph zone........within 30 minutes of each other. $340 in fines. TOP THAT!!!

My drivers abstract was up to 3 pages but never had 2 separate incidents that close together! lol I think you'll take the cake!

Was it the same cop?

Of all the people I have shared this with, you're the first one to ask. Great question. The first was State Patrol, nice guy actually, caught me cold. The second was City of Denver, fat assed doghnut eating piece of sh@t. Total bum rap of a charge.

I have had a few speeding tickets but the breaks I've been given far outweigh my convictions. One time I was clocked at 135 mph in a 65 but the Alabama State Trooper gave me the break of a lifetime and dropped it to 74 in a 65. I just recently went to city court for wreckless driving because I had lit the tires up on my roadrunner and a city policeman saw the smoke and long blackmarks then he saw my car and put it all together. The city Judge dismissed the charge. Thank God!!! I'm getting too old for this I know. LOL!!!!

Ain't that the truth. It's hell having been born with your right foot heavier than the left.

Biggest break: 65 in a 25, officer just let me go. Real dumb on my part, I was in a residential area, my motorcycle had been dis-assembled all winter and I just got her running for the first time in months, and decided to open her up on my street... Sure as ****, there was a cop at the corner watching me the whole time. Fortunately when I explained the situation, he understood and told me to take it out into the country if I wanted to rip the throttle like that ha!

Biggest ticket: 95 in a 45. BUT. The officer didnt show up to my court date, so the charge was dropped! So I guess you could call that a big break too kinda, even though it wasnt the officer that let me go :p

when i was 17 i got a break . was doing 145mph indiana state cop wrote for 135mph. it was in my first car a 69 charger r/t man that car was fast

My last speeding ticket was in 1981 in Montana ... 82 in a 55 zone ... paid a $5 fee to the officer on the spot for "wasting a natural resource" and hit the road again.

Well, if we're talking biggest break, when I was 17, got pulled over at 1:00 in the morning for 110 in a 45 in my Runner. Cop knew my Dad. Didn't give me a ticket but he told my Dad. I wished he had given me the ticket instead.
:3gears:

31/in a 25mph......later that day 35/ in a 30.....same cop.
then he bragged about it at the coffee shop in my neighborhood, "I got that '68 charger R/T 2x today for 5 over"...my buddies were in there (coffee shop) and heard him state that. went to court and the judge BLASTED me for bringing that up!

One time after leaving work at a bar where I worked as a bouncer I noticed a car catching up to me fast and riding my tail... it was in an 80 KPH zone and I went up to 199 KPH which is where my car was governed to get rid of this guy and he stuck with me all the way and then threw his cherries on

Came to my window to give me the ticket and I lost it! Pretty much told him it's 3 a.m. and I just left a bar where I've been dealing with drunk idiots all night... A few of which were probably pretty angry with me... I thought he was one of them and by failing to identify himself sooner he put me at risk... He actually agreed and got back in his car

closest tickets i have ever got were about 24 hrs apart.same cop, about same spot.both speeding.worst ticket i got was durring a street race way back in the day.busted for 152 mph in a 35 zone!impounded car, went to jail.cost about $4000 when it was all said and done.made the money back racing the next weekend.dam i was a reckless youth.

Back about 1979-80 or so in Fairfield Ca. I got Competition Speed/$550 Access. fine 3pt's IIRC, racing in a friends 69 RR against a 69 Camaro out on Ball Cannery Rd, out by Travis AFB & then Exhibition of Speed/$250 2 pt's IIRC, sideways smoking the tires, leaving a Fosters Freeze in my V8 Vega, in about a 20-30 minutes span of time between of each other... Then had to go to the police station & bail out my buddy Rocco, idiot who tried to run from the cops & his headers fell apart while we were driving thru town... Not the smartest thing I've ever done, smarter than my buddy thou, I think my Insurance tripled, if I remember correctly...

I had 51 tickets from 18-21 y/o, mostly for a bunch of different little things, fix it stuff/crap mostly, too loud, too high, too fat of tires, hood obstruction, stuff hanging from the mirror, speeding, in my cars & trucks etc.... I went in front of a Contra Costa County judge, that said "if I got another ticket in the next year/12 months, I would have my license revoked, for the next 3 years", I was a good boy for a long time after that... I don't get any tickets anymore now...

I lived on a street with 2 CHP's & a County Sherriff, I could fart with out getting a ticket it seemed...

I got busted in 86 for exhibition of speed (drag racing) on central in Phoenix in my Dart. I was supposed to go in the AF the next day, a Friday. Told my recruiter what happened while getting processed. I got pulled outta line and told, This had to be worked out if I was gonna to join up. I called my buddies up and told I couldn't take it, and went AWOL. They came to pick me up, we had a few extra days to live it up and had some good laughs about it. I went in the military 3 days later when the judge and recruiter released it.

Back in about 80/81 or so, dropped off my buddy after a night of partying. Left his place with tires smoking in my 66 Polara. Local cop was just up the street. Pulled me over, went through my car, took what was left of the beer and some firecrackers that were in the glove box. Then told me, I know you've had to much to drink. I'm going to give you a ticket for exhibition driving and you go home and go to bed. What could I say but thank you!

Biggest break was in 1980, I was 18 and driving my 69 Belvedere. Doing about 70 on a cloverleaf style ramp on the Queensway (Federal land) in Ottawa at about 3am. Lost control and knocked down a light standard while spinning backwards. The Belvedere came to rest and stalled out and facing into oncoming traffic on the highway. I started the car back up spun around and took off! Turned out the RCMP saw the whole thing.

The chase lasted 20 minutes and ended like the finale of the Blues Brothers behind Ottawa's Science Museum. While being arrested by a local City Cop (not the RCMP who actually had jurisdiction because it started on Federal Land) he made a rather rude and incorrect comment about my mother and what she did for a living. I managed to give him a pretty good shiner before the RCMP Officer got me into his cruiser. Well, I got charged by the RCMP (their jurisdiction after all) for everything you could think of including assualt. I FIGURED I WAS FU#%%$ED...

Three months later in court and minutes before my trial I met the RCMP Officer. He told me to relax and not worry. Huh? Sure not what my lawyer said. Minutes later the Crown dropped ALL charges based upon some kinda error and the RCMP officers recommendations. What? I honestly expected to go to jail. No fines nothing. I met the RCMP officer in the hall afterwards and politely asked what just happened? He started to laugh said I seemed like a good kid and he had wanted to see that city cop get popped for years!

Speeding in my grateful dead van, dodge 100

Back in 79, I was driving in upstate NY in my Dodge 100, 318, 3 on the tree. I was doing 81 in a 55. The music was blasting and I didn't even hear the sirens for about a 1/2 mile when I checked my rearview mirror. There was a big Dead, Steal Your Face sticker on the hood. The trooper was pissed. Cost me a $120, but no points since I had a NJ license and there was no reciprocity back then. :icon_fU:

In Finland our neighbourland you can get tickets thats exceed 100.000 Dollars, the fine is based on income and fortune, beat that.
