Made it home. Suspected culprit is the bulkhead connector as others have suggested. I left the ignition in the run position, put a little torque on the connector and you could hear the electric fuel pump run and stop depending on the pressure put on the box. I massaged it, shoved it in towards the firewall and drove home. I will disassemble, clean and use dielectric grease then drive it and see. What a relief. Thanks to FBBO and my Mopar pal John for the help.
