Sporadic engine cut off 69 Coronet

Made it home. Suspected culprit is the bulkhead connector as others have suggested. I left the ignition in the run position, put a little torque on the connector and you could hear the electric fuel pump run and stop depending on the pressure put on the box. I massaged it, shoved it in towards the firewall and drove home. I will disassemble, clean and use dielectric grease then drive it and see. What a relief. Thanks to FBBO and my Mopar pal John for the help. image.jpg

When I rebuilt my wiper motor, and had re plugged in the wires to the firewall connectors I noticed they were loose and had to be tighten(pushed in) to make a good connection. I have some of the brass versions of the oem connectors if you need them. They work great.

Dennis good to hear the culprit has been identified.

Hey BM, where is the source for brass versions of the OEM connectors? Thx Michael
