spring clamp

I have the spring clamps on my car and one of the heater hoses is leaking. The clamp actually when it is released you still can move the clamp. I'm thinking about permatex the nipple but not siure which kind of permatex to use. They have several kinds. I want to stay with the spring clamp setup. any Ideas or which permatex product to use? Thanks

I use the Blue Permatex on all hoses with spring clamps, I love the spring clamps because of the originality and they look stunning on a nice restoration, but they do suck for quality and sealing.
