I need complete interior, wiring for engine compartment, wiring for tail lights, wiring for fuel tank and dome light. Complete grille assembly

Well I hope I don’t hit any roadblocks along the way, I’ve taken a couple cars a part in the pass and reassembled them but I’m modifying this so it looks like a good challenge. Also trying to decide how much modifying I want to do is not easy. Definitely going with RMS suspension front and back, tubbing the wheel wells, full Red interior, motor to be decided later.

Removal of door windows. 1st I removed all the bolts on the panel that hold the window braces in. I did the lock and door handles when the window was out.

2nd There are bolts hinge side and one but at the bottom through a plastic cap that needs removed.

3rd There is a Allen head screw through this access hole that holds the wing window down, mine were right and rusted so I WD 40 and worked it out on the passenger side but I stripped the drivers and will have to tap it to back it out.

After stripping the drivers side I tried to drill and easyout it out but that didn’t work to well so I use a uni- bit and made the hole bigger. And drilled the bolt head off with a drill bit.

Update, ordering the USATool suspension stiffing kit and RMS 4 link so I can get everything welded in on the underneath. Waiting for my body man, space some time in the next couple of weeks. Tear down of windows, trying to decide on new or restore the original.

Started tear down of grille to restore and see what parts I might need. And also received my center frame rails, tubbing metal, and stiffening kit.

Looks like a very solid car, minimal rust issues, nice find. You are going to LOVE the RMS system. I also had a complete Hotchkiss system on a 69 Dart GTS and that was awesome but for a Pro Touring type ride I like the RMS better on my GTX.

I have the Hotchkis front and rear suspension on my 68 Roadrunner and I like it, but I researched everyone’s thread about the RMS front and rear and I have to go with it on the Charger.
 
Long awaited update. I pulled the Charger from the body shop. Owner wasn’t getting to it and was having major back surgery soon.Found another shop, he suggested having it acid dipped. Went and picked it up this weekend.

Rusted quarters removed and in sealed. Order new inner and outer fender buckets.
