I have a torque converter that is about 1 inch small than standard, 11 inch diameter versus 12 in. Does anyone know what stall speed that would indicate or is there some way to determine it without it being in my car? I'm hoping that is somewhere around 2000. Knowing what it is will help me decide what cam to put in my 440.
Thanks

Too many unknowns to tell. The converter is a big mystery all the way down to how much torque the motor makes. The weight of the car and the rear end gear are factors too.

Also, how much HP/TQ your motor makes will determine how much stall it will have. Extreme example: I once had an 8" race converter (same one) behind two different motors and they stalled almost 1,000 RPM different.

You are probably close in guessing it's around 2,000 but like poster above said, too many unknowns.
