Bingo, that’s the guy, just what Wyrmrider said.
This fella will help you get going full steam and straight away.
Once you leave OE parts, this fella gets the aftermarket set up right. The after market (in most cases) just engineer a rocker arm that kind of fits. Probably workable, but generally not that great despite how popular they are, how strong they are, ETC...

Some of the top line valve trains from places like Crower or TD are really super nice BUT also need some type of adjustment.

It is the variations in and out and all over the engine as well as the cam itself. This requires the rocker arms to be moved around and adjusted. Up, down, left, right, back and forth. The more modified the engine block, cylinder heads are just add to it all.

This has been since engines were first made. The further outside of stock you go the worse it gets.
