I am re-wiring my engine harness of my 68 Coronet. The old harness was wired like this:
Ammeter is bypassed and fused (MADelectrical).
Yellow wire from bulkhead to starter relay I. Check.
NSS wire to starter relay N. Check.
Alternator wire to starter relay BAT post. Check.
Heavy red wire from battery+ straight to starter bat+ post. ?
10awg red wire from battery+ to starter relay BAT post. ?
12awg wire from starter relay SOL to the starter SOL post. ?
BUT the FSM wiring diagram shows: Heavy red to starter relay BAT post.
And from starter relay BAT post down to the starter bat+.
Was It was years ago when I pulled everything out. So was the old wiring correct?
