Need a New Starter for m6 69RR with a 69HP 440 ,Any suggestion Napa, Auto Zone and so on

Thanks Tom C

Well if you only have 69HP with a 440, I assume your powering your car with the starter. Little wonder you need a new one.

I used a mini starter from DB electrical. Works great.

To bad I don't have any "Mini's" sitting on my shelf, I'd let one go for $50.

Reman minis are all over for less than $60 shipped on the ebag.

I got my mini starter from Advance auto life time warranty for 60 dollars

2X.
Bought 4 for different cars over the last 10 years. 2 used on 12.5 to 1 engines, latest one starts a 14.5 to 1 engine. All still working fine $69, free shipping on Ebay.

x3 for ebay. Found one for under $60 shipped, remanufactured. Much lighter than stock too.

You can get a high torque mini starter - brand new - from 440 Source for $98. Works like a champ in my stroked GTX.

The DB electrical starter looks strangely similar to the 440 source unit...

It could be the same starter. 440 Source says it's the same as brand name minis w/o carrying the brand name. In other words 440 buys them to sell from the same source as the big guys.

My mini starter came from a junkyard Dakota in the late 1990's and it's still going strong. My 440 is a little over 500 hp.
