Statement from Stacey David about the TV show Gears

I haven't watched speed in forever. Velocity has been getting all my attention as of late. For some reason chasing classic cars has piqued my interest. Gearz was a good show but every time I* saw it, it was a repeat of a show I had seen twice before. I stopped tuning in all together. I know a lot of you guys still vant stand graveyard carz, but I am waiting for the next season. I generaly dvr it and fast forward to good stuff. I wanna see that six pack bee het done.

Stacey Davis is a 100% pure gear head and car nut. Love to have him as a neighbor and friend.

Was it me, or did SPEED have the MAXIMUM amount of commercials allowed by law? A majority of the shows I saw there were what i would call "fluff" pieces. About a half/hour commercial for various speed part manufacturers. "Then we installed the fuel injection system", and POOF! it was on! No info on how it was done. I would have liked many more "how-to" kind of shows. But I know those don't pay the bills. And yes, I like hot women, but at a point some shows just insulted my intelligence by having a hot chick pretending like she knew anything about cars.

I agree, most shows even though I like them don't show allot of the process on how it's done like Counting Cars. Yeah, I'll miss David Stacey and Gears.

Love Gearz and Pass Time. Please bring both of these shows back. Couldn't stand Pinks. RU Faster than a redneck wasn't too bad. It got predictable and the old cars were $100k builds that most of us could never afford, but still cool to see what is possible with cars like ours.

The Gearz show has moved to the MATV channel, I personally do not get that channel on dish network and as I told Stacy he will probably lose a lot of viewers, his reply was well we re broadcast all of the shows on the website. My reply to that was really, you expect us to go find you on the internet and watch on our PC's? I don;t think so not the same as a TV. God luck to him and the show and I will still follow him on faceplant book.
