Hey Guys I have to drop the steering column on my 67 r/t to instal a small chrome molding that goes over the steering column. What is involved? I gthnow there are 2 bolts under the dash, anything else?

Pritty strait forward, abd also make sure none of the wiring harness looms get taunt when you drop in down.

normally the 2 bolts under the column will give you enough room to do what you are doing.there are normally washers, studs, and an aluminum bracket there pay attention to keep track of how they go together.often times the stud will come out instead of allowing the nut to come off, kinda tuff to get back in,so watch for that.

Got the part installed, i just losened the two bolts under the dash and that gave me enough room.
