Stop in for a drink.

The state of Nevada gave permission to restaurants delivering food, and liquor stores to sell and deliver to homes.
The wife placed her order on line and Lee's Liquor delivered the next day. All is well !
Perfect. Liquor stores here in Iowa are "essential" as well.. The state warehouses all the liquor sold in the state. They wouldn't close a cash cow funding stream like that. LOL

The bar is open. Trying some Knob Creek (barrel pick) with some Ginger Ale. I usually drink this whiskey/bourbon/rye neat but this stuff can't be tamed! LOL

that looks tasty
I like Nobb Creek & Makers Mark both, my favorites

I can't have booze in the house, I live with an alcoholic
(my elderly dad) that has no control what so ever
I don't want to temp fate either

I still do drink some, certainly
But;
I have to go over to a neighbors with my booze, stash
& drink there instead, usually while working on my Dakota or his Jeep CJ5
to shoot the ****, or go swimming in his new pool, suck back some suds

A strange parallel, my neighbor is a alcoholic. Great guy!

I don't drink much lately

I've been drinking some craft beers
I like to try different stuff as much as possible
a bunch of local/domestics
a bunch of no name stuff, local to NorCal
Kilt Lifter ale
& a Chocolate Malt Bock beer was tasty

my go to is Sam Adams Cream Stout, Boston lager or Black & Tan
Sierra Pale Ale is too

almost anything other than Bud or Coors swill

That sounds like a plan. I home brew and enjoy craft brews a lot more now than before I started the hobby. I brewed a chocolate-orange stout and a oatmeal stout around Christmas that was really good. I will brew those again. I have 5 gallons of Orange Shandy just ready to bottle. It is a great summer beer as is my latest Wheat Beer with a slice.

that sounds great :drinks:

I don't as much as I use to. When I had my lake house it was one big party. There was a small bar about 500 feet away on the water. When he was slow we'd go over and make his day. I'd buy and the others would tip and if I'd buy they had to tip BIG. Stimulating the local economy. I enjoyed watching everyone benefiting!!! I miss it sometimes. Sometimes I wish life had a reverse instead of just forward.

I still have my lake house and "yup"! It doesn't help having 7 bedrooms and a bunkie everybody knows they don't have to drive or stagger far,so it becomes a little c-rowdy at times!I'm getting too old for this, guess I'll just be Bernie some weekend!

Coffee, baileys and amaretto, in my shop, as we speak!!
