If you go Duke's in Waikiki on Oahu they serve a drink called the Tropical itch. It is fantastic. On a hot day like today those things are so good.

Just picked this up, more out of curiosity. Haven't tried it yet. It's a gin made in Italy.

On this drinking theme
The wife and I like to go to beer fests. We sample most and listen to the music which varies widely. We usually have friends join us and it makes for a general good time.
We went to one this past Saturday but didn't stay long because it was to friggin hot.
But my beef is why all the IPAs? Just brew a good amber ale or lager.
Not all of us are yuppies trying to impress each other drinking the bitterest **** brewed.

100% agree. We have many craft breweries around here. A local one has 2 crap laugers and the rest are IPA's. I haven't been there in a couple years. Not a fan.

I thumbs up, thank and agree with you. Amber, then lager, then I'd throw in a good porter.
I'm a stout fan. I home brew and those are my best.

I live about a 1/2 hour from the Guinness open gate brewery. We go there occasionally cool place. It used to be Calvert whiskey distillery. The beer is always good. I am not to fond of their baltimore blonde though.
Mike, that there looks like my favorite beer. Rootbeer!
Not effected by the heat from your hand. They work pretty good.

It's funny, I find things now and think, to late for that, where was that when I could have wore it out!! I was looking at the liquor situation the other day and I found 3 handles and 4 fifth of Bacardi.

Its like 97 degrees right now with ridiculous humidity so I thought I would have some rum on ice instead of a good scotch ale thats in the fridge. Well....
The ice lasted about as long as my bernese mountain dog in this heat. So she's inside and I had to put my rum in a yeti glass while I sit outside and enjoy jimmy buffett turned up to loud.
