Street/Strip shock for Caltracs?

Ron did you ever dyno your engine or chassis dyno the car?

No I have never dyno'd it. Going by the et , mph and weight it comes out in the 600 flywheel hp area. I would say somwhere between 580 to about 610 at the flywheel. Ron

Ron...Your 63 in the benchmark for all builds. Street driven and 10.70's and 125...you should be proud of that build.

Thank you kindly Mike. We all know you better be proud of your awesome running build. Thats one great running Mopar for all Mopar lovers to be proud of. Ron

Well, now I really torn between having Hughes do my heads (which are now OOTB standard port INDY heads). They can increase these SEZ heads from 290cfm to 350cfm which would put me into the high 10.20's OR spend the money for a New Tranny with a Trans Brake so I can be competitive on the PRO TREE in the 10.60 INDEX (D/GAS) class that I run at my local track.

Why do you need a whole trans when a brake could be installed in yours??

I will NEVER give up my PUSHBUTTONS!!!!

Thanks for the info Ron. My engine dyno'd 590, I'm shooting for 11:50 so hopefully I can hit that, with 3:73 gears & 4000lbs

You should hit 11.50 without to much trouble. I am just over 3700 lbs and right in the same area as your eng. So if I gave up 3 tenths for 300 lbs thats still 11.0's. I think you will hit 11.50's as long as you get decent hook. Good luck , Ron

With the cal tracs, & 325/50/15 MTs and good shocks I'm hoping for 1.60-70 60 fts.

That sounds right on . I went to a taller tire this season but last year I was running the 325s with cal tracks and 3.91s . Not knowing how to launch the car it layed down a 1.69, granted I'm making alittle more power than you but again I wasn't launching right. I think you'll hit a 1.6 or better
