Superbee or RoadRunner..."to Bee or not to Bee"...

Well,
Remember: Someone in this forum always says:
"FILL YOUR LIBRARY BEFORE YOU FILL YOUR GARAGE"
That being said, the best condition car is the easiest to restore.
I have a 70 Superbee but if it were mine to do all over again:
Road Runner.
Why?
Because they just seems to get a "lil more cred" out there.
AND, They dont make Plymouth's anymore.
All being equal, I'd go Plymouth Road Runner.
BUT: I LOVE my 70 Superbee
PS: I just put the Hemi in AND CASSELL.Ent Air cleaner assy (Stage V heads/manifold) came in last night.
Good luck, Remember there are far less "Bee's" than Road Runners!

Would you really do a RR instead? Not trying to be bad guy, My thinking and what ive seen and heard, You don't see many as compared to RR of the 70 BEE, and there are far less it seems then the RR, the 68-70 RR are my favorite Mopar of all time, but i try to look at it realistically. . Im not sure if the RR gets more credit only cause when a 70 BEE appears it seems the attention span on the RR starts to loose, i may not sound like the RR is my favorite but ive found this to be true, of the 68,69 and 70 Super Bee. They are a classic act to follow, thats a fact.. I would have the RR quicker then a BEE but thats ONLY because of how i felt/feel about them, i really don't think you can set the BEE out of site and get away with it long, they earned there place thats for sure. And im in no way saying you do this, im just saying out of site out of mind wouldn't work with the BEE, one shows up, There's a lot of us running to get a peak of them... Ive seen it way to many times. And hows about a peek at the HEMI!

Here is the bee I went and looked at. Its junk. Junk dipped in bondo. and then dipped again and smoothed out with a rusty pocket knife.

Looks good in the photos..just wait till you get up close. Good lord. Might be a good acid dip candidate, but that really depends on whether or not theres anything but rust under the bondo...the "buckets" look like a large cat, possibly Bengal or American Mountain Lion was locked inside and set loose among the wreckage. I feel bad continuing to trash talk this car. I love Bee's and especially 69's. The guy really does think he has something amazing, I wish him luck and the same to whoever the lucky new owner will be. Maybe someone somewhere is willing to do the work, but all in all this Bee is not for me.

JMO, But one acid dip may leave nothing but the stinger on that BEE... I hope anyone else who looks at it knows as much as you and don't get fooled.. Thats a lot of money for bondo, I cant tell to much from the pics, but it sure sounds bad. To bad, there a beautiful car.

I might have a lead for you on a 69 Road Runner out of Mesquite. Supposedly it's a good runner that was just sanded down to paint......$8000.....have'nt seen it yet. Will update when I here from them.

If you don't get the RR offer it up to us in the states that a title does not matter like mine...

Me living in Texas, having messed with titles.
The title is not only the deciding factor it is the only factor.
But my opinion and $3.50 will get ya a cup of joe at starbucks
