Ok, so I just bought a 65 Coronet Hardtop to replace the 64 Belvedere I lost in a fire a year ago. I want to give it some stance and put SS springs on it. I want it to sit similar to the belvy in my avatar Which ones should I use 3400? 3800? Car is currently completely stock. I'll be picking up a set of hangers from Mancini Going to run 265/75/15's on it.

Go with 3400#. I used them on a '65 Coronet and the stance was perfect. I have a
friend who got 3800's for a '64 330 and wound up having to use lowering blocks
because of the height of the back end.

That's what I'm afraid of. there is a 65 around here that sits like a 4x4

I have the 3400 hundred lb Super Stock springs on my car in this pic that I bought from Mancini. The car actually sat about a 1/2" lower and I rased it the 1/2 for this stance that I like. Ron

Did you raise it after installing the springs or did the springs provide the lift? Yours has a nice stance

64 Belvedere: I should have mentioned in my first post that I also had just installed
3400's in my '63 Belvedere, and again the stance is perfect for me. Sits just about
the same as 383man's car.

I actually raised mine about a 1/2" after putting the 3400 lb SS springs on. The car sat about level and I used a slightly longer shackle to raise it about a 1/2" to sit like this as I like a tiny rake to it. Thanks for the kind words. Ron

I have the 3400lb 456/457 on my 62. Sits nice. Also, you have to use the longer front spring mount.

I did not have to use a longer front spring mount on my 63 as they bolted right in with all the stock pieces.

62 and 63 use the same segment lengths as the 68 A body super stock cars. 64 and later B bodies need a longer front mount.

I went with 3800 S/S...I tried the 3400 first and it sat way too low.

Thanks, that's the first time I had seen that chart!! Ideas on the best place to get springs for my car 63 Fury? Prefer 1" drop since I have 2" drop spindles...

I would give ESPO a call. They make springs to order and get good reviews here. The Mopar SS springs do not seem to give the same ride from vehicle to vehicle. I went with them because they were inexpensive and cheap oversize shi

I ordered from ESPO the first time. They were very nice to deal with however the reason I need springs is when I received them they were looked like they had been stored outdoors with quite a bit of rust on them especially between the spring leafs. They were not worthy to go on a fully restored car. So I blasted the springs that I could get in the blast cabinet which was all but the two longest on each side. I took the 4 remaining springs to a commercial blaster that I had used before. They never called to tell me they were done and when I rode out to check on them they were out of business and my springs no where to be seen. ESPO offers a great price but quite honestly I am reluctant to order springs again that looked like they were pulled off a junk car, wiped off and painted with a rattle can, which is what I got the first time.....

Possibly. Correct right side springs will have 2 half leafs on the bottom of the stack. Yours looks like 6 leafs. But some people use 2 left side springs so it doesn't sit crooked. SS springs should also have a number stamped into the spring on the bottom side.
