I saw this post and apparently either someone faked the block in the Super Bird or this is a fake block. The car does exist and was sold at Mecum as Numbers matching.

Comparing stamps I have at the same pad dimension, I'm going with the block stamp is fake. I won't say why...

Are you suggesting the one in the FB for sale ad is faked? I thought the font looked questionable.

the block is worth more unstamped........ why would anyone stamp it? why stamp it with a number for a car they don't own?

I'm sure engines were replaced for issues not related to block damage; so some of those blocks must be out there somewhere

One giveaway is that an original VIN stamping pad has curved flycutter machining marks like the original one above. The one on FB does not have these markings
