Hey guys, I'm looking at putting a 1972 model 360 and tranny into my 65 Coronet. Is this a direct swap? In yalls opinion, what kind of power gain should I expect?
Thanks.
Thanks.
need different drive shaft,(front yoke is different) If your cornet is collumn shift, need a shifter. exhaust is different. carb linkage is different. neutral safety wireing. Nothing impossible.
How is the front yoke and shifter different? Push button shift ended with the 64 models and iirc, they went to the slip yokes in 65? The trans in the 65 should be a 727 and if the 360 comes with one, the shaft should slip right on in....need different drive shaft,(front yoke is different) If your cornet is collumn shift, need a shifter. exhaust is different. carb linkage is different. neutral safety wireing.
