Hello all, I bought a used front sway bar for my 66 coronet. Im looking for some pics of an installed bar in a car. Im looking to fab the brackets for the mounts. Any help here is much appreciated.

Firm Feel has bolt in end link mounts for the lower control arms. The bar should have came with the correct clamp for the K frame. The K frame clamp is simply bolted to the K frame. You can mock it up, drill holes and clamp.

This is the Firm Feel set-up on a 65--identical installation for your car.

Heads up! May not apply to your car, but when I was looking for a sway bar for my 65 Coronet, I found there were two different bars. One for cars that came with a factory sway bar and another part number for those that didn;t. My 65 Coronet did NOT have a factory bar so I had to order a different bar because the lower control arms didn't have the tabs for the end links nor the holes in the K-member for the bushings. Make sure you get what you need.

they are the same bar !!! one kit just comes with a weld on or bolt in bracket to put on the car .

if you looks at my picture you can cinda see the little bracket right behind the sway bar link mounted to the controll arm, small "L" shaped bracket

Im not sure i have the correct bar, it does not have the long "tails" like the pictures posted here. At best it would have to go under the the center of the k frame or thru it. I will try to post a picture.

That style goes thru the k-frame. The other style has a hump in the center that the radiator core support bracket goes under.

You can use a earlier style sway bar like what I have mentioned above on a b or e body if thats all you can find.
