Does anyone know if the T-10 was available behind the poly? I am thinking of putting a 5.7 in my 63 Ply and mine is a 361. I am trying to come up with a bellhousing that would work. Any idea's?
The T10 absolutely came behind a poly 318. In fact there was a slight gear ratio difference between the two engine applications, for the T10. Yes you will need a specific bellhousing. It is cast iron.
If the T10 has the same bolt pattern as the A833, then you can use a small block bellhousing. ALL 318s that had a 6 bolt crank flange used the same bellhousing pattern from their inception to their demise.
