T7 burnished bronze B-bodies

I understand Dave

I saw your other post that included body damage photos , I understand wanting to get things done the right way, hope all goes great with your restoration plans, I got my new quarters, trunk etc from Sherman & Associates take care of all the rust the right way ) Best wishes! CD

Here's a variation on T5, it's close, but with a bit more metallic in it, this is my Satellite which came with T5.

I ordered my paint.

I went with kirker automotive's "sunburnt copper pearl"

I felt that it fell in line with the bronze T5-sh look, very similar.

I'll try scanning a color chip tonight and posting it up.

Man, I've always loved the "Catch me Copper" on a B-Body...just ALL Business looking! Still hope to add a 70 Burnt Orange RR one of these days...

Cool.

I think it's an good thing to do, keep those body cracks in check by reducing the twist a little.

Well... Plant the torque a little better too I suppose

I'm bumping this back up. I'd like to see some more T7 B-bodies.

i know i ordered that other paint but I can save that stuff for one of my 4x4 pickup projects.

I talked to a buddy that mixes dupont yesterday and he found the mixing directions for T-7, I'm strongly considering buying the T-7 base from him and putting the original white vinyl top back on.

With all things matching up so nicely body stamping wise, engine, trans etc... I'm having a hard time not putting this car back to it's original color.

It NEEDS to be original color - get the mix from your buddy and go for it

I think you've seen most of mine

NorthernDave - maybe you haven't seen these specific photos. I have T7 across my fender tag too for outside, interior, top/bottom...

T-7 Sport Satellite

Dave, Here are a couple of pictures of my T-7 Sport Satellite. They aren't the best pictures as they were taken back in about '76 or'77,but at least it is the factory paint. This is the same car I still own and am currently working on.The 'ole girl is up on the rotissourie.I guess I just never took too many pictures of her through the years.I hope these will help you in your decision to go back to the original color.I've had many people tell me I should go with one of the hi impact colors, but she just wouldn't be "The Mayflower" if I changed the color.
