TEMP SENDER WIRE FOR PRE 1967 BIG BLOCK CARS WITH AC

Have a 1966 coronet big block with ac. Temp sender is under the ac compressor and has a flat top on the sensor, so you cannot use the stud type connector. My car came with a short wire between the 90 degree stud connector and the sensor with a flat connect to accommodate the sender. Wondering if this is correct and how I can find that wire, or do I just cut the 90 degree angle and crimp a flat type connector? I want whatever the factory did.
Looking for survivor pics please...not opinions.

I have attached a photo of the water temp wire with a 90 degree angle connector on my 67 Charger but I have no ac. Also, my engine harness is new, so I assume it is correct. Click on photo, I circled plug in blue.
