As a current owner of a 67 big block 4 spd Ranchero and one who put 90 K miles over ten years on a 68 Mustang, you won't find me doing much Ford bashing - except when it comes to that attempt at a front suspension and power steering system. But I prefer MoPar over all of them!
Some Fords are just cool, 62-70 Shelby or especially the Cobra's & AC's, 64, 66-67 V8 Ranchero's, 23 T-Bucket {especially in Altered Race car form}, most any 32-42 V8 Ford Coupes & Woody Wagons, 49-51 V8 Victoria's, Tudor Business Coupes & Woody wagons, 57, 63-64 & 66-67 Fairlanes {or Thunderbolts}, 57 Ranch wagon/2 dr Woody, 54-57 V8 F-100's {my favorite style pick-up}, 67-70 Mustangs V8's & only fastbacks or Shelby's {but not some of the freaken squirrelly *** Mustang people...LOL...}, 64 Sprint/Falcon Body style {especially as a race car}, 63-64 Galaxies BB FE 4 speed cars, 68-69 Cyclone's/Torino's or the 70-72 Torino's/GT's 351 & BB cars, then there are some that just aren't, cool at all, basically all the rest until the 2005 Mustang/Shelby's & they are just now growing on me... IMHFO Meeps Yes some specific SBF's are OK {302/351ci Cleveland's or 4V Windsors}, not preferred all SBF's compared to all SBC's, that's just me thou, to each their own... I'm not a big fan of their front suspension systems either & especially on newer 4x4's & Heavy Duty F-350-750 pick-up & commercial trucks... Disclaimer But I do own a F-350 Extra-cab 4x4 7.3ltr Power-Stroke Turbo, 6 speed, Diesel Dually, It's really just a tow rig for me, I liked my D-2500/3500 Rams Cummins & W-200/300 Cummis or Gas engines, Dodge trucks much better, I hate the damn F-350 thing really, rides like a freaken tank/buck board, can't hardly do a U-turn or turn it unless you have an empty damn parking lot or something, I just let Pops drive it mostly, he loves the POS, I think it make reminisces back to his school bus driven days or something...LOL... my daily driver is a 99 dakota 4x4 SLT 5.2ltr, far better than the Ford, except for it's towing capability
