the death of Roadkill

I just read that this AM too...
sad day for gearheads

It seems like Youtube is taking on a lot of automotive content. I wouldn't count these guys out.

Watching these shows gave me the motivation to get back into classics after a 10 year break. Roadkill is terrifically funny and the guys know a few good tricks as well.

Roadkill helped, but it was this forum that got me into classic cars.

They killed off the majority of the magazines so this is not shocking to me. It also explains why there is an article in the new Modern Rodding where they take the straight axle off of Blasphemi and put an IFS unit on. I thought it was weird that the car is featured there, now I know why.

I felt it was right around the corner with Freiburger being active on YouTube and even showing roadkill related events. If MT had bigger plans they wouldn’t have allowed it IMO. I’m hoping there isn’t a non compete that blocks the different hosts from working together on YT.

He was probably making too much money. Boot him, like many others and hire dummies for pennies on the dollar. According to some big wigs, a Monkee could do the job the company is wasting money on you for.

I watch very, very little TV…streaming or OTA. Roadkill has been a favorite for many years. If I was sick or the weather was too bad for outside work, I would binge a couple of episodes. I could never schedule myself to plop down in front of the TV at a given time…that just isn’t me.
Frieberger, Finnigan, and Dulcich were entertaining and fun to watch. Their exploits were fun also.
RIP Roadkill and thanks

a bunch of 12 years olds with a show & no limit credit card being watched by another bunch of 12 year olds going on 50-60 something. Questionable work quality, lack of reasonable safety precautions in work and execution makes for a good juvenile show

Then why did you watch it?

It truly is a sad day. I got to participate in RoadKill Nights last summer, 2023, and hot to meet Freiburger and Finnegan at PRI. Yes, they did stupid stuff, but the message was the same, grab a buddy or a couple friends and an old car and go have fun with it. It has kept me motivated for years. Haters gonna hate anyone that gets out and does something they wish or think they could do. But they don't.

Everyone worth watching has their own YouTube channel. Which means there’s no corporate agenda. Let it die and let them get back to their fun

Juvenile is a good word for it and the world is pretty juvenile in general. I've spent most of my life being serious and that show is screwed up and so am I, I watch it all the time. TV today is screwed up in general, I'm going to miss Blue Bloods also.
