Roadkill has changed my life for the better. My son and I got into the ratty muscle car lifestyle big time about 8 years ago, the General Mayhem episode made owning a Charger a possibility. I now own 2 second gen. Chargers, a 70 Super Bee and my son has a 66 Coronet. We have been to Roadkill nights twice. I can't thank David Freiburger, Mike Finnegan, and Steve Dulcich enough. I will continue to watch and support their online content. Thank you Roadkill!

there’s enough car YouTubers out there, they should do what the gun YouTubers have done. The rules have gotten so ridiculous on guns, they got together and formed their own streaming service, Pepperbox tv you’re interested. If they all got together they could do the same, and it would be epic.

Yep, good show. They had a good run after 14 seasons though. Apparently it's all economics. It costs too much to produce. (or so they say)
$12-15 million per episode is a lot of cabbage.

Digital media forced magazines out. Subscription numbers have been plummeting since content started showing up on the internet. The cost to print, handle, and ship the material has gone up to the point where it doesn't make sense any more. The content is produced on a computer and can easily be shared over the internet. Reading an article isn't as much fun as it used to be now that everyone has a video camera in their pocket.

In the third place some might say that a convertible B body looks like a bathtub on wheels.
My brother in law likes convertibles. Some cars even need American Racing Mags. Some don't

I liked the Roadkill and roadkill garage shows. But everything comes to an end eventually. Hopefully Dulcich does more YouTube videos also, I enjoy him the most.

The theme of Roadkill and Roadkill garage echo what I've been doing for years. I loved the fact that they inspired others to resurrect dead cars and get them mobile again. I've owned many junker cars over the years and had a whole lot of fun with them.
I agree with DF, driving a V8 RWD car on dirt is an absolute blast.

I know that there are some guys that won't say it out loud but feel that they are above driving a car like Jigsaw, my car above. I understand having pride but the honest truth is that I have had far more fun in these ratty cars than I ever had in this one:

No don't misunderstand me, I love the red car. It outperforms everything that I have ever owned but the freedom that you feel when you're not worried about scratches and dings is impossible to fully explain to someone that has never felt it. I can drive Jigsaw anywhere and not feel nervous about it. Interstates, bumper to bumper traffic, dirt roads, it does not worry me. That is not to say I would ever let "Ginger" to become ratty looking to alleviate some anxiety. Each car has it's place. I can drive Ginger anywhere too, I just worry a bit about theft and/or damage due to the money invested in it.
The beaters are fun because if you bend a wheel, so what? I just go up the hill and grab another plain steel wheel and I'm back in action. CHEAP can be a lot of fun.
It is fun to fix something up using ingenuity and common sense rather than just throwing a bunch of new parts at it. It is great to repurpose old parts to get a car back on the road. Sometimes, nothing beats the fit and durability of factory stock parts.
DF has some critics and I'm not sure that he deserves some of the BS that came his way. He can be a little annoying sometimes but for the most part, I liked his work. I never cared much for Finnegan.
Dulcich though.....He seems like the kind of guy that I'd really like to know. He is smart, funny and seems genuine.
I had a couple of emails with Chris Birdsong about his time on Roadkill Garage when they were building the Dodge "Muscle Truck". He confirmed that SD is the same in person as he is onscreen....friendly and genuine. Dulcich owns the big farm and it looks like he is doing alright with it. He did have some time in the magazine world before the TV stuff came along. I suppose that he will be fine. He had a YouTube channel awhile back but I don't know if that is still active. Part of what made him great was his interaction with others. I don't know how well he would do as a solo act.

You should drive a V8 Charger in winter...especially in deserted gravel parking lots covered in snow in the wee hours. I did that many times in my Charger, but no more winter driving for Grendel now... You definitely have a point about having no worries driving a less-than-pristine car.
