Plug in the 200 Amp bolt, switch the circuit on and watch for the puff of smoke. At least that's how it was in 1982. :rolleyes:

Late 70’s, we kinda did same to check for shorts in semi-trailers. Feed 12v thru pigtail, if can’t find, flip switch to 110v!
 
That is no sort of guarantee....but it is a decent start.
Yea but it would be kind of stupid to spend almost 2 years, $100 in membership, and countless hours building a reputation just to scam someone out of $300 when a person has a couple grand worth of parts still. That's some -ROI lmao.
