The much anticipated 1968 Bonneville Triumph arrived 11 October

Sweeeeeeeet. Nice bike.
I grew up on Triumphs and BSA's. My brother has a 1961 650 Tiger that he took apart around 1970 and is still in boxes. I want to get it from him and restore it. They have a unique sound to them.

Nice bike 'ski.
I love those Triumphs & Nortons. Much cooler than a Harley.

Very nice ! My first bike was a 69 Norton Commando wish I still had that bike!

I love the Nortons
He had a RARE one, my Cousins' Husband, but he sold it...
First year Commando, All British Racing Green, no decals!

Thanks everyone for the great enthusiasm and support...

Gorgeous Bike the BSA!
GREAT "KKID"

It's one of those "wish I still had" bikes. Over the years I've watched the values go up and up!

About 8 years ago I met this guy who was running a '67 Triumph. I was admiring it and he says "go ahead and take it for a spin". I took him up on it and wow did that bring back the memories! The feel, the sound, just awesome

What was the reason for buying the Triumph that you have? It's a beautiful looking bike!

Congrats on a truly beautiful motorcycle.
I was into Triumphs like most of you are into Mopars.
I had at one time 3 Bonnies and a TT Special ....My entire basement was Triumph parts/frames/engines
I had a custom Triumph with a modified engine. I sold everything when my wife was pregnant with number 2.
You need some Wentworth wrenches now and best of luck

That is very interesting SFSI !!
Thanks for that info, any pics?

No that was many many years ago. Some day maybe id get another triumph. I remember i had to take the race out of the crankcase and no idea how to do it. My skill level wasn't what it is today. I took it down to the local Britt bike guy. He put a little heat on the case, taped it on a piece of wood and out plopped the race. He put a new one in, put a brick on top of it, waited for it to cool and charged me whatever i dont remember....But thats how you learn.... I even re spoked the wheels. After that i brought the wheels and a axel to a Harley dealer and the mechanic there trued both wheels .....

Thank you...something to tinker with ....
3,567 original miles!
Never owned a brit bike before...rides real sweet!
Very well balanced...Old School, like me!
