60% chance of thunderstorms both days. Saturday and Sunday. That means definitely rain imo.
I cant catch a break.

Thats a 40% chance it won't rain...
I'm gonna win the whole thing on Sunday anyway so you might as well just stay home...:tongueflap::icon_madu::beavisnbutthead:

It was great seeing Ange, Joe, Chris, the Reasbecks and all of other racing family last weekend at the Beav. It was another great show.
With that being said it wasn't with some down moments. The final time trial before the Hemi Shoot Out on Saturday dad broke the sprag in the transmission. We pretty much wrote the weekend of racing off until a very good friend of ours Ed Eckenrode called to see how we were making out. When we told him what happen he said that he would be at the track at 9:00 am with a transmission so get the broken one out of the car.
So the thrash started. I was laying under the car getting the converter bolts out when Brian Vollman a friend of Bob Roles walked up and asked what was going on. When I told him he offered the lift in his stacker. So we wheeled the car into the trailer and lifted it up and pulled the transmission.
Sunday Morning Ed showed up with the transmission and we thrashed putting it in the car, we backed it out put fluid in it and took it for a test drive. Just as we got the hood on they called the second and last time trial for N/SS. Dad went out and went 10.00 which was perfect since we had to dial with a zero and the heat was getting pretty intense.
Believe it or not we ended up going 4 rounds Sunday which made the thrash all worth it.

We can't thank Brian Vollman and Ed and Barb Eckenrode enough for everything they did to help us, no to mention everyone else who stopped by and asked if we needed any help.

Since the weekend didn't go as planned I didn't get a chance to go out and take any pictures so I had to pull these off the web.

First,

This is from the Legends Ceremony before Sundays Race.

This pictures is of Ed Eckenrode, Ed Miller and Judy Lilley.

Ed Eckenrode cleaned up pretty well since 45 minutes before this picture was taken he was under the car with us bolting in the transmission. lol
