Most of the charging stations in the rest of the greater Vancouver area were un-flooded and unaffected, electricity still flowed even though the gasoline didn't. I do understand the concerns about certain cities or states that can be stretched thin when it comes to electricity, and the extra load from charging cars can be the breaking point. However, that isn't our case up here, we have a surplus of cheap electricity.I’m sure the charging stations worked great in the flood too.
I don't even recall if diesel was rationed as well.Pretty sure the fire trucks still got all the fuel they needed... You can have all the electric cars you want but forcing emergency services to deal with them is next level stupidity..
We had 1 klondike bar left the other day, and my wife told me she hid it from me. I said “Oh so we are playing hide the Klondike now?”
