Talk about a defining character role.....Say the Name " Nurse Rachedt" and everyone instantly gets this womans picture in their head. Same with " Captain Jack Sparrow".

"Ratchet" is currently a slang term that was IIRC originally used to mean someone, more specifically a woman who has such qualities as the character.
It's been around long enough to go through a few permutations.
I first heard it in the early 2000's.
Not quite "Daisy Dukes" quality, but for the actress, pop culture immortality from both the role and the term, regardless.
