Yes, I’m running the stock grilles and repro 3” speakers.

I've got one of those.. LOL
I am gathering up the pieces to build the dash for my 71 Charger. This will be a great winter project.
One of my many job's was shipping parts all over the world. A full felt cover cradle with MANY contact points is essential for spreading the weight around. A roof is hard to ship, spread out as big as they are. You'll get there. I know this one of a kind car will stop people in their tracks. I can't wait. There is nothing like the old meeting the new, a perfect mixture.

Te new roof came in today …. trashed also.

It was sent via Estes Trucking. I reported it to Summit and told them that since they cannot pa jags it properly and Estes abuses their freight that I just want to cancel the order and asked for a refund. I have a Plan B.
I don't know how they packed it, probably more generic, than specific to just the chargers roof alone. If they drop it, it doesn't take much to bounce a dent into it if the ribs aren't tight to the metal....... Here's to plan B!......... Sorry!
So Mark the 70 dash is textured? Thats what it looks in the pic. Meaning not smooth

Organisol paint does have a texture to it. I’d say that the texture I sprayed yesterday came out a little heavier than factory, but it’s done now and I’m leaving it.
Bummer about the roof skin…

Good guy alert right there!! Until I can get one that's undamaged, Pete's going to loan me an AMD roof skin that he has in stock.
It's what we do RC! Now all I have to do is extract it from the back corner of the garage. It's behind the E body section of the garage! If you look at the picture it's up against the wall,you can see it between the two E body cars.

Hi RC, Sorry about round 2 with Summit. They are great for getting parts fast, unfortunate about the handling. Sounds like you already have this sorted, but if it helps, for big AMD parts I sometimes drive down to Auto Body Specialties in CT. Not that bad a drive for us and you can see the parts first.
RC came by yesterday and said yo jive turkey,give me some skin,so I slapped this on him!
Good thing is to have a friend that takes care you, Mark is lucky.
