The Roach

I found out that the hemi emblem on my car was put on there to cover a scratch in the fender!!

Got the Vintage Air heater lines routed and connected. Just got to get the connections on the compressor crimped on.

Looking really good Mark. :thumbsup:

Don't forget to run some sealant around those body grommets after the system is commissioned and working correctly - prevent ingress of water to your nice new carpets.

Thanks Roger. I knew about the sealant. There’s a lot going on with the right side inner fender & it’s not none yet. Going to work on some more of that tomorrow.

When I worked on Dwayne’s Plymouth doing the Vintage Air job, we considered running the lines as you did. If you’re not going to run a really wide tire, the way you routed yours is a clean and safe setup. Wider tires with less offset put the tire too close to the hard lines that go through the alignment cam hole.

Got the ps cooler and radiator in place. I’m waiting for a friend to modify a bracket for the a/c lines and when I get that, I’ll cut the lines and have them crimped onto the fittings that attach onto the compressor.

Must be getting close to firing the engine..... :thumbsup:

Mark, that is a great job you have done - it also seems that there is plenty of space left underhood also....unlike modern cars. :)

Thanks Roger. Mechanically, just about everything under the hood and on the exterior is done. Going to recruit a friend to help me with installing the front bumper/grille assembly after the new year.

Things I still have to get are;
Trunk mount battery kit & wiring
3-point seat belts
Stereo system

Got to bug my interior guy to get the headliner in so I can move forward with that. I've also got to work on meshing the new electronics with the old wiring. I'm saving that for last.

For seat belts these guys are great and they're just up the road from me about 20 miles. I bought a few sets from them. They'll customize if you call.
