I tried to do just that a week ago and got up against a lot of tec stuff I did not understand. It can be done though.

Spent a few hours working on it today.

Wired in a trunk light, almost have the battery shut-off switch completed and moved the gas pedal an inch and a half closer to the tunnel & up an inch.

Yesterday, when I took my foot off the gas to hit the brake, my shoe would still hit the gas pedal, so when I pushed down on the brake, I'd push down on the gas also. The main problem is that the MP bracket for the gas pedal is slightly higher than the brake pedal, so my foot would hit it. Hopefully, this new position will work out better.

I just found this & wish I had found it before all of this trial & error I've gone through.
